The bonus amount is the least important number in any offer. The wagering requirement is what matters, and a simple example makes the difference obvious.

Look at the third row. The 5,000 bonus is the largest on offer, but claiming it requires three hundred thousand in turnover. The house edge applies to every round of that, so by the time the requirement is met, more has usually been lost than the bonus was ever worth.
